ECLIPSEXPO

Éclipsexpo was founded by Jean-Claude Cacciaguerra
and Guy Nawy in 2011.

We are committed to changing ideas about
the creative process, about accessibility and about
handicap.

JEAN-CLAUDE CACCIAGUERRA

Born in France in 1968, Jean-Claude lost his sight at the age of 6. Visually impaired (90%), Jean-Claude is a graduate of Pierre and Marie Curie Paris VI, in mathematics and physical sciences.

Following studies at Paris VI, Jean-Claude continued on to obtain certification in computer aides for the blind at the Bibliothèque Publique d’Information (BPI) Beaubourg.

Jean-Claude is committed to promoting issues of accessibility for the disabled and has participated in focus groups for the development of technologies to facilitate the daily life of the blind. He is convinced of the need to improve communication necessary to bringing about change in attitudes towards disability.

His open-mindedness, intellectual curiosity and audacity have guided him in all his undertakings.
